Devotion in Motion Island Style

Devotion in Motion Island Style is a Christian dance dance group whose mission is to share the “Spirit of Aloha” through the music, dance and culture of the Pacific Islands. In Hawaiian, aloha means love. The group receives its inspiration from I Corinthians 13. “…The greatest of these is love”. “Aloha Ke Akua” (God is Love) 1 John 4:8 is their motto.

Under the direction of Lia Kamminga, the troupe has been sharing in their community of Antelope Valley, throughout California and across the USA for over 30 years.

With Christ as the center of their presentation, audiences experience traditional hymns such as “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art” to contemporary selections such as “More Love, More Power” and “O Praise the Name”.
